Jayster Arsenal News

GREETINGS!

For those you found this now-hidden page, well done! I just can't delete a page that I have worked on so much!

What a tragic end: Arsenal lost the Title race, out of all of the cups and ended the season trophy-less. Good news is that Wenger promised to buy at least 3 high-profile signings this summer! Yay!

Here is a leaked picture of the new home and away kits of Arsenal for the 08/09(next) season. I believe this, because I got this from a reliable source. Geez, the away kit is horrible!

For those who found this hidden page, I got you a 'gift' for finding it- all of th links to all of my sites! Prepare:

NO MORE ARSENAL NEWS

No more Arsenal News. I am not changing my mind. Noone is viewing this page, I am talking to myself! There are more things on my site! Unless you want it back, say in the Blog now.  Otherwise, this page will be deleted.

A.C Milan 0-2 Arsenal (agg:0-2)

Arsenal left it late to win 2-0 against home team (and last year's Champions League champions) A.C Milan to progress into the quarter-finals. Cesc Fabregas found his early-season form again and scored at 84 minutes, which then Emmanuel Adebayor sealed the win at injury time and made it 2-0.

I have now made a link to the BBC report of recent matches (i.e. if you click the picure of this report, it will lead you to the BBC Sports report on this match, etc.)

Csec Fabregas, who was Man of the Match, claims that Arsenal can now win the double- Premier League and Champions League:

''We are top of the Premier League and through to the quarter-finals of the Champions League. We beat the holders at home, so why can't we win them both?"

Arsenal 1-1 Aston Villa

A poor display from the Gunners and an Phillipe Senderos own goal had nearly cost Arsenal's lead in the Barclay's Premier League, if it was not for Nicklas Bendtner to score a vital equaliser. Arsenal F.C are now only 1 point ahead of main (and probably only) title contenders Manchester United, who beat Fulham 3-0 on Saturday.

As the tuesday Champions League away match against A.C Milan is coming up, Robin van Persie has come back from a long-term injury, which has reduced him to only 3 matches this season so far. Tomas Rosicky (hamstring), Alexander Song (knee ligament), Kolo Toure (calf - good news, he's not far away from fitness) and Eduardo [Da Silva] (very serious broken leg- bye bye until 9 months?) are still on the sidelines.

Here are images from the last 3 fixtures:

Arsenal 2-0 Blackburn Rovers

Arsenal F.C extended their lead in the Barclays Premier League by 5 points with a 2-0 win home win over Blackburn Rovers, thanks to a Phillipe Senderos opener and an Emmanuel Adebayor finish. Arsene Wenger has quoted that he is quite surprised that Arsenal are top and 5 points clear above main title contenders Manchester United - who have just lost to rivals Manchester City 2-1 for the first time at Old Trafford in 34 years (plus, Man Utd. and City have worn special kits to remember the Munich Air Disaster)-, and also added:

'' If you have one bad day at the Premier League, any team can beat you''

Manchester City 1-3 Arsenal

Adebayor scored twice and Eduardo netted a stunner to regain top spot in the Barclays Premiership. They will stay first as long as Manchester United do not win against Gunner arch-rivals Tottenham Hotspurs.

In other Arsenal news, BBC One will show the F.A Cup Round 5 tie between Manchester United and Arsenal, Wenger wins the race to sign Gillingham striker Luke Freeman and also claims to have been 'very close' to signing Cristiano Ronaldo before he joined Man Utd, Kieran Gibbs and Mark Randall join Championship clubs Norwich City and Burnley on loan and Abou Diaby signs a new contract which will keep him at the Emirates until 2012.
